1. General Information and Applicability
SALTY Interiors is a Swedish limited company with its office in Stockholm, Sweden. For any inquiries, please contact us at hello@saltyinteriors.com.
These terms and conditions govern the marketing, sale, and delivery of furniture and interior items ("Products") sold on saltyinteriors.com or through direct communication with SALTY Interiors. By placing an order with SALTY Interiors, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any other documentation, including customer purchase orders, these Terms shall prevail unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by an authorized representative of SALTY Interiors.
2. Placing an Order
Via Website
We recommend placing orders through our website for the most up-to-date product information, stock availability, and lead times. Orders placed online will receive an automatic confirmation email. Orders are binding once payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed.
Via Email
Orders can also be placed via email at hello@saltyinteriors.com. Customers must ensure all necessary details, including product names, quantities, and SKUs, are provided. Orders will be confirmed via email within 5 business days. Customers are required to verify the order confirmation and report any discrepancies within 48 hours. After this period, the order confirmation will be considered final.
3. Delivery
Shipping
We ship to all countries within the EU. If you're outside the EU and want to place an order, just send us an email—we're happy to assist and find a solution for you.
Products are shipped via trusted carriers to the address provided during the order process. Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the delivery address. Shipping costs will be detailed during the order process or agreed upon separately. Costs incurred due to incorrect addresses or failed delivery attempts will be charged to the customer. All shipments are tracked and insured.
Freight shipping - Curbside delivery
The carrier will deliver your item(s) to the curb of your specified delivery address. This service does not include inside delivery, removal of packaging, assembly, or setup of your item(s).
Delivery Timeline
The standard production time for all products are 6 - 8 weeks from the order date. Shipping time is estimated to be 1-2 weeks.
If customers place an order before the 1st or 15th of each month, production will begin on these dates.
- Orders placed before the 1st of the month will begin production immediately after the 1st and take up to 6 weeks to complete, followed by delivery within 2 weeks.
- Orders placed before the 15th of the month will begin production immediately after the 15th and take up to 6 weeks to complete, followed by delivery within 2 weeks.
SALTY Interiors will notify customers of any delays and provide updated timelines. If delays exceed three months and are not due to force majeure, customers may cancel their order for a full refund.
4. Ownership and Risk
Ownership of Products transfers to the customer upon full payment and delivery. SALTY Interiors reserves the right to repossess unpaid Products.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices are listed in EURO in the online shop and are subject to change without prior notice. Any applicable taxes, fees, or shipping costs will be detailed during the checkout process. Payment must be made in full as per the payment terms specified in the order confirmation.
6. Warranty and Claims
SALTY Interiors provides a limited warranty of one (1) year on all Products against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to improper use, assembly, or maintenance.
- Normal wear and tear, scratches, or impacts.
- Outdoor or humid environment exposure.
- Alterations or repairs by third parties.
Defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or as soon as discovered. SALTY Interiors will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the defective Product.
7. Returns and Cancellations
Consumers have the right to cancel and return standard Products within 14 days of delivery, provided the Product is in original condition and original packaging. Custom orders are non-refundable. Returns must be coordinated with SALTY Interiors at hello@saltyinteriors.com, and customers are responsible for the return shipping cost.
8. Force Majeure
SALTY Interiors is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the SALTY Interiors website, including product designs, text, and images, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or used without prior written consent.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be settled in Swedish courts.
